I agreee with Fabrice Steroids will NOT improve your preformance as an athlete only over dose you on Testosterone giving you huge muscles and a number of deady side effects.
Stephanie Pierre #2
I agree with Liz many people who are addicited to steroids go in to debt or end up finacially poor
because they spend their pay check on steroids. Many people like to by the expencive steroids that will get the job done faster and quicker which puts a strain more on your body and wallet.

I never knew the full extent of taking steroids, but reading this article showed me that taking steroids really stressed your body to its limits. But with these high paid athletes who are romodels for kids, and they are doing it too it really is sending the wrong message to kids.
I believe just by taking one pill is killing your self but people are blinding by the fact that they will play better, to realize all the devastating effects that steroids leave behind. They should work hard with their own hormones and stay clear of any extra help like steroids.

I agree with Fabrice. steroids isnt worth taking the risk. steroids can lead to many harmful things like acne, bad breath, and oily hair. Fabrice is also right about the spread of HIV. If the needle you get is shared there is chance of getting it. It can also lead to problems with liver and heart. I agree with fabrices last statement which is "excersising may be harder but the phrase is cheaters never prosper." he picked a very convincing ending.
Elizabeth Kaminski #2
I agree with Justin. you are killing yourself and also your appearence gets damaged. Losing hair at a young age is not attractive and also stunting your growth and height is definatley a disdvantage. doing drugs is very bad for you especially steroids. girls using steriods can take on some manly characteristics like more facial hair than usual and really deep voices. boys can also have pain while urinating. i would not like that to happen to me.
Elizabeth Kaminski #1
I didnt know about all of the different steroids and how much that they cost.I think many people are addicted to steriods and dont care about the risks of it. They just take them because they look strong and tough. other people dont use it because they know the consequences of it and they would rather not ruin their lives over drugs.
Javaun Porter Post #3
Steroids can take a dangerous toll on your body. Especially when you're drinking. Binge drinking with steroids is not a smart combination. Taking Steroids while drinking can cause liver damage. Steroids can also make you addicted. Steroid users can spend a large amount of money and time just to get the drug. Also taking steroids with other drugs can be dangerous. This is called Stacking. Reports have shown people had to be rush to the emergency room for mixing steroids with other drugs.

I Agree with Justin. If you take steroids you're not only killing yourself but you're killing your appearance. If girls are taking steroids the could start having male traits. The could have deeper voices, lost of feminine traits and increased facial hair. If boys take steroids they could get impotence, sterility, pain when urinating and testicular shrinkage. That's something you wouldn't want to happen to you.
Javaun Porter Post #1
When you're an athlete you want to do everything in your power to become the best at whatever sport you play; baseball, basketball, football. Even though your pretty good at it you still think it's never enough. Some teens want to be the best at the sport they're playing so they get desperate. They get so desperate they consider steroids as their only option. Steroids increase the hormones in your body. Even though it might increase strength and endurance, studies show that steroids does not increase athletic abilities. Besides it's not wroth it. Steroids can have some serious side effects to your body. They can led to premature hair loss, mood swings, delusions, paranoia, Insomnia, nausea and vomiting, high blood pressure, aching joints, urinary problems and increased risk of developing heart disease. Not only that, people who inject steroids into their systems by sharing needles have a chance of getting HIV.
Devin Rockensies #3
I agree with Steven because steroids can only increase how big you are. It cause shorter life and hair loss. People who take steroids can change a lot because if they are known as a good person all their life and they take steroids at a point their whole personalty can change and they can sometimes become abusive.
Devin Rockensies #2
I agree with Denise because most people take steriods to look big and strong. They only care about the way they look and not the risks of streriods. Taking steriods can cause many things that can affect your friendship with other people and your health.
Fabrice Benoit # 3
I agree with Frank taking steroids shows that you fail when it comes to resisting peer pressure and it shows you are desperate to get better yet not in the right way if you want to get better you have to practice
Denise Quinatanilla #3
I agree with Craig because i like Craig don't understand why many people spend the money they do, and just make you look tough, but in the inside you are weak, and unhealthier then before. I was not really aware about the story about Chris Benoit. I think that now that i hear this story it make me think about other people who take steroid, and what they can do because they are taking them.
Fabrice Benoit #2
I agree with Eric, Steroids will only increase the size of your muscles they will not boost your athletic performance steroids can lead to health problems and like Eric said if you want muscles take the old fashioned way and work out
Denise Quintanilla #2
I agree with Brianna because you should like the way you look. Sefl-confidence is a very important thing in your life, and you shouldn't care about what others think about, but what you think about your self, and if people are really your friends they would help you gain self-confidence.
Denise Quintanilla #1
I think many people are addicted and don't care because they look all big and tough. Some people might want to quit because they are scared to ruin their life, and loss their family just because of steroid. I was not aware of the different types of steroids there are, and the cost that people pay to get them. I think that you should live life they way you were created, and to be yourself as you are not as others want you to look.
Justin Vella Post#3
If people use steroids, they are only killing themselves. Steroids can cause early hairloss and a shorter adult height. For girls, it can cause them to have deeper voices and other male traits. For guys, it can cause them to have more female traits. It can also make guys more aggresive and violent. Steroids can also break the lining of the heart, which can lead to stroke and other hart problems. Another side effect is liver problems.
Justin Vella Post #2
I agree with Fabrice. It is not worth taking the risk of using steroids. Steroids can harm an atheletes career and can also cause you to become addicted to other drugs like cocane. They can also cause guys to have more female charictaristics and girls to have more male charictaristics. As Fabrice said, if you inject steroids with a used needle, it can lead to HIV.
Justin Vella post #1
I believe that steroid abuse is very harmful to your body. A drug, such as steroids, should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor. Proffesional athlelets should not use them because, as stated in the article, they are not proven to help increase performance and also because they can lose their entire career just by cheating. Many people do not pay attention to the risks and dangers of taking steroids, which is very upsetting.
Fabrice Benoit #1
steroids which is also called hype, pumpers, gym candy, or arnolds are not worth the risk. Many people take steroids because they think that it will improve your appearance but in truth they do the opposite. Taking steroids can lead to acne, bad breath, oily hair, and more. If you inject steroids you have a chance of contracting HIV if that needle is shared it can also lead to a liver disease and infection of the lining of the heart. If you take anabolic steroids if you are a boy it might give you more female characteristics and if you are a male it might give you more male characteristics. exercising may be harder but the phrase is cheaters never prosper
Cristina Ramirez#2
I agree with Steven, when he says that steroids aren't good for your body and they only make you feel bigger and stronger. What people don't realize is that steroids really are not good for your body. Steroids can become very addictive and affect your body in many harmful ways. They may improve your endurance, strength, and muscles, but in the end it is not worth it.
Cristina Ramirez #2
I agree with Dean, when he says to take the high road even though it might be hard. For example if you have worked hard to get to where you are in a sport, that shows that you didn't need steroids to get there, and there is no reason for you to start using steroids in order to stay there. Even if the people on your team are using steroids to improve their game, that is a perfect example to take the high road instead of going down to thier level, and putting your life at risk of the different effects that the steroids have.
Dean Gaul#3
I agree with Veronica on the topic of how steroids affect you and your body. If your constantly having mood swings, you might say something offensive to your friends or family, hurting their feelings. Steroids will have an aftermath affect on you, causing you to look and feel different like Veronica said. Some kids may see celebrity athletes taking steroids and think that it would cool to look like them. Idolizing these stars will cause them to end up in the same path as those stars. In the end, it all boils down to the fact that steroids are useless and expensive and have no positive affects that will benefit you when it comes to enhancing your athletic ability.
Dean Gaul#2
I agree with Eric on the topic that if u want to gain muscles you should do it the old fashioned way and work out. If steroids don't help your athletic capability, why even take it? Steroids, in this case, are completely useless. The only things steroids will do is increase your muscle size and possibly alter your attitude. Steroids stimulate muscle tissue, mimicking the affect of the naturally made testosterone. If you're really determined to get muscles and become better than you can be, set your mind to it practice makes perfect.
Cristina Ramirez #1
Steroids, which are also known as roids, juice, gym candy, stackers, etc., are naturally produced by our bodies. On the other hand some people take steroids buy pills, gels creams, or injections, because they want to enhance their athletic abilities. Steroids can have long lasting effects, such as
premature balding, hair loss, dizziness, shortening of final adult height. I believe that people should not use steroids, because of the effects that they have on you. I don't understand why people use steroids, if they know the long lasting effects, that it will have on them later on in life.

Juice, weight, hype, gym candy, and stackers. There all different words but they all mean the same thing: steroids. The body already produces steroids to fight stress and help growth but can be found in pills, gels, and creams. Artificial steroids are known as anabolic steroids. These types of steroids stimulate the muscle tissue displaying the same function as the naturally produced testosterone. Some people abuse this drug, believing it can increase their athletic performance. Steroids can provide for this function but also have affects. These affects include premature baldness, delusion, paranoia, trembling, nausea and vomiting, and urinary problems. For males, affects include sterility, breast development, and impotence. For girls, affects may be an enlargement of clitoris, increased facial hair growth, menstrual cycle changes, and the deeping of the voice.
Anabolic steroids are dangerous drugs that can negativly affect your body in many ways. Avoiding these types of affects can be simple. Going to the gym and increasesing your physical structure is the traditional way. Taking the high road may be hard but its worth it.

Molly Miskiewicz #3
I agree with Kathryn. Steroids make your body feel very strong at first, but after a little while you just become tired and you wind up feeling worst then you did in the first place. Some people do relize how much danger they are putting theirself in when they take steroids, so they think its no big deal. That goes to show how little people know about the dangers of steroids.
Kathryn Tomitz #3
I agree with Veronica. People think bad about themselves so they think steroids with help, but in the end they will look and feel much worse than they did in the first place. If professional sports players are caught using steroids they will be suspended, so I don't understand why anyone would to take that risk and I don't understand why anyone would want to face the dangers of steroids.

Anthony Smith # 3
I agree with Steve because we all know by now taking teriods is just forcing your muscles to grow bigger without strenghting them first. Which is obviously bad, if your muscles are too big and your bones are too weak that automatically spells Problems. So people out there before takin steriods or any type of drug make sure you know what you are doing and you know the side-effects of what you are taking before actually taking it.
Anthony Smith # 2
If or when you decide to take steriods you'll just be putting yourself and others at danger. Just think of it Steriods, Family, Death< or more common injury. If you only want steriods to make you look stronger and feel stronger and you are aware of the side affects then you are one seriously ill person. I suggest you seek help before it's late. Before you kill yourself,or the ones you love.
Steven Holloway Post #3
I also agree with Caitlin. To steroid users taking steroids is very addictive. Steroids are popular because they supposedly improve your endurance, skill, and strength. Steroids increase the risk of getting cancer, a stroke, or heart problems. People who use steroids don't have much confidence in their ability that's why they use them.
Anthony Smith Post #1
Steroids.....or otherwise known as roids. *sigh* Why people take steroids I don't know. It's maybe for the look and feel of strength. But what they don't know is that they're only hurting their bodies. Most athletes take steriods to improve thier skill ability in which most of the times it doesn't. Taking steriods often causes you to have high blood pressure dizziness and evn catch diseases like HIV aids. Noone wants that...Bottom line taking steriods decreases your life span by about 15 years.
Steven Holloway Post #2
I agree with Eric. Steroids do more harm to your body than good. The people who are taking steroids don't know what's happening to them. They try it once, feel the rush of adrenaline and keep taking steroids. Over time the amount of steroids you take add up and hurt you.
Steven Holloway post#1
Steroids aren't good for your body at all. They only make you feel bigger and stronger. The fact is that steroids hurt your body in many ways. For example they can give you diseases, viruses, change your attitude and make you look like the person you aren't. People take steroids to look and preform better in many things, mostly in sports. They really don't help that much. Don't be tempted to take steroids, they don't help.
I feel the need to correct young Daniel. Steroids make you look stronger however they have not been proven to actually help you have more endurance and actually make you weaker and more fragile. On a different note I had no idea of all the different forms of steroids, and all the money you could lose by taking them. If you still have any doubts about the consequences of the drug look at Chris Benoit (wwe) he killed his wife, son,and himself because of steroids. Steroids not only hurt you ,but also the people you care about.
Using steriods is dumb D-U-M-B. All it does is make you look big and thats it. Then you have to deal with a bunch of health problems. You get zits all over the place and diseases. All types of different things just to strong. Its not worth it people need to look in the mirror and be happy with what they see, and if you want to strong and actually be strong go to the gym. Some people who use steriods might just be lazy and not want to put in the time or effort it takes to have the body of a Greek God. While people who use steroids may look good now in the end their going to look like The Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Eric Cedeno Post#3
I also agree with Caitlin. Steroids are addicting and this is why so many people continue to use them. People are wasting their hard earned money on this drug that does nothing to help them. They are hurting themselves! These addicts do not know the affects the drug can do to them over time. These people are likely to later develop health problems. This article has provided a lot of information about the danger of steroids. I'm sure that many readers now know that this drug is worse than they originally assumed.
Eric Cedeno Post#2
I agree with Dan. Taking steroids to enhance your performance has a high risk rate. Why would you take a drug that does not help you in ways that you assume, just to harm yourself? That is not worth. You can even hurt people around you. You can hurt other people physically and you can hurt them by sharing needles. This can spread aids and other diseases.
Eric Cedeno Post# 1
Taking steroids for it's positive effects is a very tempting decision for many people. People take steroids to improve their sport performance or to change the way their body looks. Research has proven that steroids to not improve a persons athletic performance. All steroids do is increase the size of your muscles. Steroids also may change their attitudes. Steroids are addicting and can lead to health problems. If you want muscles, steroids are not worth it. Do it the old fashioned way and work out!
Katie Rizzo #3
I also agree with Kathryn. When you first take steriods you will feel great but then in a few minutes you feel weak. People usually think that taking steriods help you to become the best athlete. But think, is taking steriods really you working to become your best or is it just some drug that does it for you? So people have to realize that taking steriods is not going to help you be the best, it is going to make you feel bad and you will not even be able to be the best. Working to become your best should make you feel happy because you accomplished it on your own. Taking steriods shoul not make you feel happy because you did nothing to help yourself become a good athlete.
Katie Rizzo #2
I agree with Veronica. Steriods is too much of a risk to even think about taking. Proffessional sports players are usually who people look up to. But, some of them might take steriods but you have to be smart enough to know that it is not worth it. These sports players usually end up regretting taking steriods. They also end up being fired or suspended, like Vernica wrote. Taking steriods is just going to make you feel worse and not what you expedted it to do.
Katie Rizzo #1
It is really not worth it to take steriods. Most people take it because they think it will change their endurance and how they play sports. They also believe that it will change their physical appearence. Steroids make you look worse than most people belive it does. You can get baldness, sickness, and dizziness from steroids. You should just be happy with the way you look or play sports because you should be thankful to living and be thankful for your athletic ability. When you play sports you should think that your best is good enough and that you do not need anything to help you.
Brianna Gallant #3
I agree with Veronica because people don't realize that steroids won't make them look better it will actually make them look worse then they ever wanted to. The side effects of steroids are worse then people think they are. They can cause permanent damage to your body without you knowing it. You should always know what is entering your body and what effects it may have on you. If you don't you could end up with damage that you never expected.
Brianna Gallant #2
I agree with Caitlin because people can become easily addicted to steroids. They don't realize how much money and time they are spending on steroids. With the time and money you waste on them you can be doing so many different things. To become better at something you shouldn't need to take drugs you should be able to accomplish that on your own.
Veronica Kelleher # 3
I agree with Kathryn. This is because to become a star athlete it takes time and effort and definitely should not be achieved by taking drugs to enhance your game especially when they can cause your life to go out the window. As everyone knows no one is perfect everyone has their abilities and disabilities and they should accept them selves for who they are. Steroids are a serious matter there are so many people that take them because they feel like they are never good enough but the truth is they are perfect in their own little way.

Unfortunately, steroids can be very addictive, making it hard to quit.
Steroid users can spend lots of time and money trying to get the drugs. Very little is known about the long-term effects some of these substances have on the body. Once users stop taking steroids, they're at risk of developing irritability, paranoia, and severe depression. Addicts also have a greater risk for using other drugs.

Anabolic steroids are used to quicken muscle tissue to grow. They can remain in the body anywhere from a couple of days to about a year. Steroid addicts who inject the drugs with a needle are at risk for infection with HIV, that causes AIDS, if they share needles with other users.
I definitely agree with molly. It's very unwise to take steroids and it’s not worth all the health problems you will have later on in life.

Veronica Kelleher # 2
I agree with Frank. This is because people are desperately to do well in sports and fall into peer pressure. Just because you want to be better in something doesn't mean that you have to risk your life to do it.When you really think about it the risks that taking steroids have is not worth even thinking about. No matter how you take steroids by pills, injection, creams, or any other was you life is not worth risking for that one good game or season.
Kristen Perrone #3
I agree with Molly. If people want something changed about themselves, they'll do anything to change it. They'll let into peer pressure and false advertising and allow the danger steroids can cause into their bodies. We're taught all our lives to never follow the crowd when it involves drugs and other dangers, but some professional athletes go to take the risk of harming themselves and ruining their repuation.
Caitlin Bowe #1
Steroids are also known as roids, juice, hype, weight trainers, gym candy, arnolds, stackers, and pumpers. Steriods can be in forms of pills, gels, creams, or can be injected. Steroids have become popular because they may improve endurance, strength, and muscle mass. However, research has not shown that steroids improve skill, agility, or athletic performance. They think steroids can improve their sports performance or the way they look, but actually it does the opposite. Some side effects include, hair loss, oily hair, swollen legs and feet. Steroids increase risk of developing heart disease, stroke, and some types of cancer.
Molly Miskiewicz #2
I agree with Brianna. Sometimes people feel that other people are better then them, so they take steroids to improve themselfs, in their physical apperence, or their ability to play sports. Sometimes when people want to be better at something, or look better, they are willing to do anything, even if it includes doing something very dangerous. I think it's a very unsmart thing todo, and deffinatly not worth it in the end, when you end up with serious health problems.
Veronica Kelleher #1
Steroids are are a harmful substance generally used to enhance peoples performance in sports. You can take steroids in the forms of pills, gels, creams, or injections. The risks of taking steroids in the form of injections is HIV and AIDS. There are many different dangers of steroids like dizziness, premature balding, mood swings, problems sleeping, and so much more.Taking steroids is definitely not worth it! Many people think that steroids will improve their game or physical appearance. In the beginning it might feel fine but in the end you wind up looking and feeling worse then you ever wanted too. You always hear of professional sports stars who take steroids and really in the end they wind up regretting what they did because the feel worse than ever before and they usually lose their job or are put on suspension. As you can see the risks of using steroids are too high to even think about using them. So don't!

Steroids are drugs, and like all types of drugs, they are very bad for your body. Steroids can come as pills, creams, injections, and gels. Some people use steroids thinking that it would improve their physical appearance. Well it might help them for a little while, but steroids can cause some unpleasant side effects, that can leave them looking even worse then they though they looked in the beginning. Other people use steroids to improve their ability to play sports. It might improve them for a while, but when you get cause that just could be the end of their sports career. Steroids can be called many different things, but no matter what they're called their all bad for your body.
Evans Charles Augustin #3
I agree with Kathryn that being a star athlete is an achievement that should be earned through hard work, determination, and time not through a harmful drug. A drug that causes harm to your body and harm to the people who love and care about you. Everyone has problems and believing the steroids are the answer to solving yours is wrong because they won't they will probably make everything worse.
Evans Charles Augustin #2
I agree with Frank that people are easily persuade by peer-pressure that they would turn to steroids for help with sports and their appearance. But the risk and harms the steroids do to the body make it unnecessary. Injecting yourself with steroids or using a gel, pill, or whatever just cause harm and pain they will not help you in anything you do. They are harmful drugs that young children especially should not use.
Evans Charles Augustin #1
I believe that this article is a great way to find what steroids are and what harmful things they do to your body. Steroids are hormones in your body that allow you to fight, stress, and growth. Some people take piles, gels, creams or injections to enhance themselves in their physical appearance and athleticism. Studies have shown that steroids do not help improve skill, ability, or athletic performance. There are also harmful side affects when taking steroids such as balding, dizziness, mood swings, depression, problems sleeping, vomiting, trembling, and high blood pressure. Certain side affects for only males and females include testicular shrinkage, pain when urinating, and the development of breast. And for females increased facial hair and shrinkage of breast. Steroids are bad for the body if not used for medical problems they will not help improve athleticism. I believe steroids are aw full drugs that are miss used.
Kristen Perrone #2
I agree that people who take steroids probably have little confidence and low self-esteem. They might have gone through their entire lives unhappy with their body, and thought that steroids would help them become stronger. However, with pro athletes, they may be pressured into taking them because their playing season isn't going so well. Athletes carry an illusion that everything with their bodies and lives is perfect, and to maintain that illusion, they may have to take steroids, unaware of the danger that can bring them. Steroids can ruin a person's career unless they get help fast.

Kathryn Tomitz Post #2
I agree with Brianna. People who use steroids may not have much confidence in themselves. They feel that they need to be the best or they are not good enough. They need to realize that they are lucky to have athletic ability and that they should find a healthy way to become better. I play softball and I'm good, but I'm not the best, and I'm still happy with my performance.
Kathryn Tomitz Post #1
Steroids are pills, gels, and creams that can improve your athletic ability and looks. For some people, steroids don't seem like a bad idea, but they aren't aware of the dangers they have. Steroids may make you feel stronger, and better at first, but the next minute you will feel weaker. Steroids can also increase the risk of heart disease, strokes, and cancer. I don't think steroids are worth the risk at all. Being a star athlete takes time and work; it shouldn't be something you can achieve from drugs, especially when they damage your health. No one is perfect and no one is good at everything so you should accept yourself the way you are or workout in a healthy way to get stronger and better.

Frank Sloan #3
I agree with Devin. This is because steroids do have harmful affects on the body. This is why people should not take them, they change people. In men, it hurts when they urinate are unable to have children. With girls, they end up having facial hair and acne. Steroids can severely affect your life and this is why they should not be taken. I also agree with Devin on all of the different ways that steroids can be taken. These ways are from gels, creams, injections, and also pills. When you take injections and share needles, you risk the chance of getting HIV or AIDS. If steroids can be avoided, people would have better lives.
Frank Sloan #2
I agree with Kristen on what she believes. I believe that steroids prove guys have as much trouble as girls with looks. They want to take steroids in order to become more of a man, and they think that it proves something. Meanwhile, really they become weaker and weaker everyday until when they finally realize it, it is too late. I also agree with Kristen on why people still take steroids. I also wonder this, if athletes take steroids and people see the effects, why do people still take them. If people had better role models and did their own thing the world would be better. This is how I agree with Kristen.
Frank Sloan #1
I believe that steroids are wrong and should not be used to enhance people's performance in sports. This proves that people are desperate to do well in sports and fall to peer pressure. Steroids can make you better, faster, stronger, and have more endurance. People can take steroids in the forms of pills, gels, creams, or injections. If people take steroids in injection form, there is a risk for HIV and AIDS from sharing needles. The effects of steroids are not worth risking. This article gives several tips on why steroids are good to avoid, and are not worth the time. The article has a lot of good information for people to follow and I hope people can learn from this article and not take steroids.
Kristen Perrone #1
I believe that this article proves that guys have just as much troubles with their appearance and traits just as much as girls do. Steroids are portrayed as the answer to all of their problems, and for me, it's hard to believe that people still take steroids after seeing the effects of them on professional athletes who take them. Everything is not always what it seems, and people need to realize that that applies to everything - drugs included. Males may want to take steroids to become more manly, but over time, they'll make them weaker than ever.
Devin Rockensies #1
Steroids are enhancers that can have severe side effects on the body. steroids have been used by many athletes before and it will continue to happen if people don't understand how bad they are. For girls they can cause facial hair to grow, they can also cause girls to lose their breast. For men they can cause pain when urinating and they will not be able to have children. Some of the ways you can get steroids are by injecting yourself, with gel, with cream, or pills. Steroids can affect your life and the kids shouldn't take steroids because it will affect their life in many ways.
Dan Clarke post 1
Steroids are performance enhancing drugs that can make you stronger, have more endurance and many other effects but it is at a high risk rate. Steroids are very harmful to the body of the user, and can make them harm other people around them as well. Steroids can be in many different forms such as cream, injections, pills, or gel. They can cause many different diseases such as HIV and AIDS from sharing needles. This article gives us alot of information about the danger of steroids and how they can be harmful. I hope very much that people can learn from this article and stay away from the danger of steroids.
Brianna Gallant Post #1
I believe that this articles in a way relates to the article we read about self-confidence. Many people are encouraged to take steroids because they don't think they are good at sports or because they want to become better at the sport they are playing. If you have self-confidence you would be fine with the way you look or the way you play the sport. If someone is determined to become better they will try anything, even if it means putting their body in danger. Steroids have many side affects that can cause damage to your body and increase the risks of strokes, getting cancer and heart disease.. People think that steriods will improve the way they look, it will make them look better or stronger. What they don't know is that steroids also have many minor side affects that affect your looks like oily hair and purple or red spots on your body. I can understand why people would want to become better at a sport or look a little bit stronger, but what i don't understand is that they would put themselves in danger to do it.
