Unfortunately, steroids can be very addictive, making it hard to quit.
Steroid users can spend lots of time and money trying to get the drugs. Very little is known about the long-term effects some of these substances have on the body. Once users stop taking steroids, they're at risk of developing irritability, paranoia, and severe depression. Addicts also have a greater risk for using other drugs.
